FAQ

Do you store my photos?

No. Your camera and photos stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose Public for a strip — then only that finished strip goes to IPFS, with location data stripped.

Can I delete a public strip?

No — public strips are permanent on IPFS and BOT Chain, and nobody (not even us) can remove them. Only post what you’re sure about, and only photos of people who said yes.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The booth uses your front camera on phones (it needs HTTPS, which the live site has). You can also upload photos from your gallery — JPG, PNG or HEIC.

Do I need a wallet to use the booth?

No. Taking photos, developing and downloading your strip are free and need no wallet. You only need MetaMask on BOT Chain to keep a strip on-chain or to ❤ strips on the wall.

What’s a fingerprint?

A SHA-256 hash of your strip’s PNG. It proves the exact file existed when you kept it, without revealing the photo. Even a tiny edit changes it, so keep the original PNG you downloaded.
